Brown vs Clear 48mm Tape
Brown tape is the traditional choice for most despatch operations and blends in against standard corrugated cardboard, while clear tape is popular where a branded box design or printed artwork needs to stay visible underneath. Both perform the same job — the choice usually comes down to presentation rather than strength.
Adhesive Options
Acrylic adhesive gives a long-lasting, UV-resistant hold that's well suited to boxes in storage for longer periods, while hot melt adhesive bonds instantly and copes well with high-speed packing lines. If you're unsure which to choose, our full packaging tape range breaks down the differences across all our tape types.
